My approach to massage therapy is an intuitive blend of every technique I’ve studied throughout my career. Each session is thoughtfully customized to support your unique needs—whether you're seeking relief from pain, improved mobility, or simply a chance to relax and unwind.
There is no extra charge for incorporating any of the modalities I’m trained in, such as cupping. If I feel a technique may benefit your session, I’ll offer to include it at no additional cost. The only optional add-on is a soothing CBD balm, available for $10.
No two sessions are ever exactly the same. I let my hands follow what feels needed and effective in the moment, and I truly enjoy doing whatever I can to help ease what brought you in—whether that’s physical discomfort, tension, or emotional stress.
Your comfort is always my priority. I’ll check in about pressure and encourage you to speak up at any time during your session—your feedback helps me make your massage as relaxing and effective as possible.
Please note: I do not offer medical massage.
I am a licensed massage therapist specializing in relaxation, pain management, and improving range of motion. I do not work on recent injuries or perform post-operative massage.
Ask about including cupping in your session—there’s no extra charge!
Cupping is a time-honored healing technique with origins in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It involves placing special cups on the skin to create gentle suction. This negative pressure lifts the skin and underlying tissues, encouraging increased circulation, easing muscle tension, and supporting your body’s natural healing processes.
Unlike traditional massage, which uses compression, cupping works by drawing tissue upward. This technique can help soften tight muscles, release fascia, reduce inflammation, and improve mobility.
Relief from chronic tension or muscle tightness
Improved circulation
Increased range of motion
Support for stress reduction and nervous system calming
Faster muscle recovery post-exercise
Reduction in fascial restrictions and the appearance of cellulite
Depending on your needs, cups may be left in place (static cupping) or gently moved across the skin (gliding cupping) to release tension more broadly.
Cupping often leaves behind temporary circular marks, sometimes called “cupping kisses.” These are not bruises, and they typically fade within a few days to two weeks. Some people may experience mild itching during the healing process—this is normal.
Each session is tailored to your comfort. I’ll always do my best to explain what I’m doing and check in to make sure the pressure feels right for you. As always, please feel free to provide feedback on your comfort level! Everyone has a different pain tolerance and cups can feel pinchy or a little painful in some areas.
Cupping is not advised in certain situations, including:
Over broken skin, rashes, sunburns, or open wounds
If you’re taking blood thinners or have a bleeding disorder
Recent surgeries, fractures, or acute injuries
Pregnancy (especially over the abdomen or lower back)
Cancer treatment (especially active chemotherapy or radiation)
Severe skin sensitivities or conditions like eczema/psoriasis flares
Areas with varicose veins or major arteries
If you’re unsure whether cupping is right for you, I’m happy to talk through your concerns and adjust your session accordingly.
